The Emir Sultan Mosque multi-purpose hall is available for hire by members of our community for events, classes, and gatherings that align with the values of the mosque.

Kitchen & Cool Room
Full kitchen with cool room, cooking appliances, and serving space — bring your own caterers or self-cater.
Crockery & Cutlery
Plates, glasses, cutlery, and basic serving equipment are available for use during your event.
Tables & Chairs
Tables and chairs are provided. Layouts can be arranged for seated dining, theatre-style talks, or open receptions.
Wudu & Restrooms
Clean restroom facilities and wudu (ablution) areas on site for your guests throughout the event.
On-site Parking
On-site parking is available, with additional street parking on Cleeland Street and surrounding streets.
Flexible Capacity
Suitable for community gatherings of various sizes. Mention your expected attendees in the form and the committee will confirm availability.
Booking Details
From $300
Base hire fee covers a minimum booking of three hours. Additional time is charged at $100 per hour.
Capped at $500
Hire fees are capped at $500 regardless of total booking duration
$300 Refundable Bond
A separate cash bond is payable on the day of your event and returned in full following a satisfactory post-event inspection.

Terms & Conditions
By hiring the hall you agree to the following terms.
The hall is located next to a house of Allah. We ask that all visitors observe Islamic etiquette throughout their use of the space.
Cleanliness & Waste
Leave the hall as clean as possible after use. All floors must be broomed and mopped, and all kitchen appliances, dishes, cutlery and surfaces must be cleaned.
Remove any waste using the Mosque rubbish bin or, if not available, organise an alternative for removal.
Behaviour, Modesty & Dress Code
As this hall is next to a house of Allah, please adhere to Islamic dress code at all times. This includes a head covering for women, and modest clothing for both men and women.
Offensive, rude or obnoxious behaviour, such as swearing and shouting, will not be tolerated.
Noise & Music
Music is not allowed in this hall. Noise levels should be kept to an appropriate level so that the congregants are not disturbed during prayer.
Banned Items & Activities
No illegal behaviour is allowed or tolerated. Smoking is not permitted in or around the hall.
Rights Reserved
The ICMG Dandenong Committee reserves the right to do any act in connection with your booking of the hall or your use of it. For example, we may vary the terms of your booking or use, or cancel your hire if you breach these terms and conditions.
Advertising
Advertising is not allowed unless first approved by the ICMG Dandenong Committee.
Injury & Damages
ICMG Dandenong will not be liable for any injuries resulting from your use of the hall.
You are responsible for any damages to the hall or its facilities that occurred during your hire.
Any damage should immediately be reported to the ICMG Dandenong Committee.

Can I bring my own caterers?
Yes, you can arrange your own catering. The kitchen is available for warming and serving food. If you plan to use commercial caterers, please mention this in your enquiry so the committee can confirm any specific requirements.
Is parking available?
On-site parking is available, with additional street parking on Cleeland St and surrounding streets. We recommend arriving early for larger events to ensure guests can park comfortably.
Can I decorate the hall?
Light decorations are welcome, but please avoid anything that may damage walls or fittings — no nails, screws, or strong adhesives. All decorations must be removed at the end of your booking.
Are non-Muslim guests welcome at events?
Yes, non-Muslim guests are welcome at events held in the hall. We ask that all visitors observe Islamic etiquette while in or near the hall, including modest dress.
Do you require a bond or deposit?
Yes — a $300 refundable bond is payable in cash on the day of your event, in addition to the hire fee. The bond is returned in full following a satisfactory post-event inspection.
Can I have music or live entertainment?
As outlined in our terms, music is not permitted in the hall. Speeches, lectures, Quran recitation, and similar audio at appropriate volumes are welcomed.
What is the maximum capacity?
Capacity depends on your event setup (seated, standing, with or without tables). Please mention your expected attendee count in the enquiry form, and the committee will confirm whether the hall is suitable for your event.
Can I book for a recurring event?
Yes, recurring bookings such as weekly classes are possible. Please indicate this in the notes section of your enquiry, and the committee will discuss arrangements with you.

Getting Here
On-site parking is available alongside the mosque, with additional street parking on Cleeland Street and surrounding roads.
The mosque is a short walk from Dandenong train station and is well served by local bus routes. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early for larger events to allow guests time to park.
