Islamic Wedding Services
Families are the building blocks of a successful society and families are formed through marriage in Islam. Your decision to marry is a spiritual covenant that is rooted in a commitment to one another.
Like any community, marriage is an occasion of great joy amongst the Muslims. Emir Sultan Mosque facilitates the solemnisation of an Islamic contract of marriage. The newly married couple is provided with an official certificate to show they have been married according to Islamic Law.
The Quran and Sunnah emphasizes the importance of Marriage.
We recommend that the Ceremony is booked at least 2 weeks prior to the planned date. Please also be aware that the summer months are a busy time for Marriage ceremonies so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Requirements for Marriage
Please Note: The Groom, Bride, Her Wali & The Two Muslim Male Witnesses Should Attend The Ceremony In Person, Otherwise The Registrar Or The Imam Must Be Informed Of Any Issue While Submitting The Application.
Booking a Wedding Ceremony
If you are planning on having your Nikkah at Emir Sultan Mosque, and only planning on doing the contract signing with no set up necessary, you will need to inform the Office Secretary on how many guests you are planning on having.
However if you are planning on having a ceremony with setup and food being served, you will need to contact the Office Secretary with reservations.
